LONDON ART FAIR 2025 // 21-26 January // VIP Preview 21 January // Find us in Stand P2

DEC 2024

We are pleased to announce our participation in the London Art Fair 2025 presenting the work of Jana Emburey and Yelena Popova in the Platform Section of the Fair.

Each year, the Platform Section at LAF invites an exclusive selection of galleries to present work aligned to a single theme chosen by a guest curator. This year, the theme is Today for you, tomorrow for me, an invitation to live in harmony with Mother Earth and with each other, curated by Becca Pelly-Fry.

We are delighted to present a dialogue between the work of Jana Emburey and Yelena Popova, two artists whose practice is rooted in ecological and spiritual interests revealing an almost mystical bond with nature and a deep kinship with all life forms.

SAVE THE DATE and Find us at Stand P2.

We have a limited number of complimentary tickets, please get in touch here if you would like to receive one.

OCT 2024

We are delighted that Yelena Popova is part of Material Worlds: Contemporary Artists and Textiles presented by Hayward Gallery Touring and curated by Caroline Achaintre.

Illuminating the diverse roles textiles play in contemporary artistic practice, the exhibition brings together work by UK-based artists who take the intimate and domestic quality of textiles and transform them into theatrical, bold, unsettling and humorous artworks that inspire, challenge and offer new ways of thinking.

The exhibition opened in the Mead Gallery at Warwick University in Coventry where it will remain until 15 December and it will travel to the Djanogly Gallery in Nottingham, the Wilson Gallery in Cheltenham and finally to the Pitzhanger Gallery in London until May 2026.

Artists: Caroline Achaintre, Jonathan Baldock, Phyllida Barlow, Marc Camille Chaimowicz, Alexandre da Cunha, Holly Hendry, Tonico Lemos Auad, Paul Maheke, Anna Perach,  Yelena Popova, Paloma Proudfoot, Yinka Shonibare, Rae-Yen Song, Tenant of Culture and Zadie Xa.

Amelia Bowles Portrait by Matt Spour Courtesy of IONE & MANN

Amelia Bowles’ first solo show is at IONE & MANN until 18th April.

Her work sits between sculpture, painting and architecture; making use of the activity of light, colour and form, she claims the void and what is immaterial to facilitate the conditions for a series of physiological, cognitive and perceptual encounters.

You can read Paul Carey-Kent’s show text on the gallery site. Here he asks about the background to her contemplative and transportative debut
